Brazil's rich cultural history gives us many diverse dance
forms-- from the high energy dances of Lambada and Samba to the ethnic dances of Bahia. These courses concentrate on the dances popular in Brazil today and in the Brazilian nightclubs around Boston and are designed to enable students to dance without fear. Dances taught include Lambada, Samba, Bolero, Forró and Axé. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to dance with freedom to some of the most sensual music in the world! The idea behind these courses is making people lose their inhibitions, because very often people really want to dance, but because they might not even know the basic steps, they feel inhibited.
The classes are taught by
Sam Ray, a choreographer, dancer and actor, who teaches his classes never obligating his students to do the step exactly as he does. It might be for this reason that entire families, entrepreneurs and elderly take the courses--not only for pleasure of dancing but in order to relieve the tension of urban routine.

We donate 10% of all profits to support and help My Father's Home Foundation-Brazil dreams come true. The center of My Father's Home Foundation will have a nondenominational Temple building in Honor of God for people who want to express their feelings and faith. Gospel music, dance, and other activities will take place there. The Institution will support needy Brazilian kids. Thank you for helping us in this effort.
