Sam Ray is a Brazilian artist,
who has been working with the particular difficulties of this profession since he was 13 years old, not unlike so many other talented colleagues who were touched with the "Wonderful Gift of Art". Performing since 1970, he acquired much experience in the areas of dance and theater as: director, actor, dancer and choreographer, and has also participated in scenery and wardrobe creation. He took a little bit of Brazil to France while he lectured at "Paris Centre II" and the "Institut Pédagogique d'Art Choréographique" in Paris. Making good use of his stay in Europe, he took courses at "The Place Dance School" in London-UK.

After so much time of heartfelt dedication to his students, and seeing his work flourish in many areas, now he continues his work as a teacher and dancer, performing in Brazil as Well as overseas, completing, as such, his artistic mission and sharing with others the "Wonder of Having the Gift of Art".

Sam Ray seems to know what he wants. But it is not enough to know what you want. You've got to be able to step on steady ground. He never discourages his students from proceeding. He is always the first one to recommend new environments and variations for those who are prepared to enter the next phase. He feels close to students and strives to become both teacher and friend.
